What We Do
Odessa Animal Sanctuary cares for hundreds of animals, ranging from exotic to previously domesticated. We seek to prevent animal abuse, cruelty and homelessness through education.

Forever Homes

Our primary goal first and foremost is to provide animals that are victim to abandonment, abuse or animal cruelty with a forever home. We provide homeless animals with a true permanent home for the remainder of their life. This is no easy feat as it requires permanent care for previously abandoned animals of all ages and backgrounds.

Education & Awareness

We seek to prevent animal cruelty, abandonment and abuse through education and awareness. Despite many great organizations existing, there aren't enough of us to outpace the current growth trend of animal homelessness. Preventing animal homelessness at its many sources is a very large feat that requires a unified front. This effort can only be accomplished through public awareness and prevention.

Forever Homes, Forever Expenses

The harsh reality is that saving animals and providing them with homes for the remainder of their lives is expensive. We provide food, shelter, veterinary care and 24/7 love and attention to the hundreds of animals living in our sanctuary. Due to the rising costs of inflation, we are continually faced with new challenges that not only stress our limited budget but prevent us from achieving our goals to rescue more animals.
